공지사항 - P4G 시민사회포럼 개최

□ 행사개요

❍ 일정: 2021.5.14 (금) 10:00~18:00 (한국시간)

❍ 장소: 서울여성플라자

※ 현장참석: 발제/토론자, 행사진행 요원 등 (30명), 한국시민단체, 언론기자, 정부관계자 등 (20명)

※ 한영/영한 동시통역, 수화통역, 온라인 Zoom세미나 시스템 및 유튜브 라이브

□ 배경

❍ P4G는 Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030의 약자로서 ‘녹색성장 및 글로벌 목표 2030을 위한 연대’를 의미함.

❍ P4G는 정부기관과 더불어 민간부문인 기업, 시민사회 등이 파트너로 참여하여 기후변화대응과 지속가능한 발전목표를 달성하려는 글로벌 협의체임.

❍ P4G는 기후행동 이행에 있어 정부뿐만 아니라 기업과 시민사회 등이 함께 참여하는 새로운 형태의 민관 협력사업을 지원함으로써 기존 정부 및 UN체제 중심의 기후대응에 보완적 역할을 하고 있음.

❍ 2018년 P4G 출범 당시 시민사회는 이에 대한 정보와 인식이 매우 저조하였음. 따라서 P4G 의사결정과정에 시민사회 참여의 중요성을 강조하고자 함.

❍ 한국장애포럼은 ‘기후위기와 장애인’이란 주제로 13:00부터 진행되는 세션에서 발제 예정임 (발제자: 이주한, 한국장애포럼 연구위원).
