Movies against all forms of discrimination! 19th Seoul Disabled Human Rights Film Festival(SDFF)

 

19th Seoul Disability Rights Film Festival finished on 15th May, after three days of movie screening and programmes. 

 

Beautiful and strong movies about disability rights have been screened for three days, at Marronnier park of Seoul.

 

This year’s slogan is “1919193B20: Never Turning Back”

 

What does the code-like slogan means?

 

-It comes from our main focus on this year’s festival; COVID-19/19th SDFF/UN CRPD article 19/Building Back Better(3Bs)/20th anniversary of mobility rights movement by Korean disability community

 

The slogan represents the will of the disableds people and their families that they will not go back to the society before COVID-19; the society of discrimination, abandonment, and exclusion.
